News Festival is a BBC internal event held at White City, the exhibition is used as an information point for departments to display new technologies being developed and used in the broadcast industry.

Installation of Video Conferencing systems throughout Europe & UK within BBC Bureaus. Over 60 systems installed with some now being used for broadcast.

Project overview: Document current systems to provide a central booking system – replace renew and re-locate systems for general access. Shipping logistics & Staff training & documentation. Budget control.

BBC MC&A Digital Demonstration Stand

Provide a robust exhibition solution to showcase the Digital Platforms offered by the BBC to highlight the changes ahead of the planned digital switchover. The exhibition traveled to all BBC buildings and was a well received aspect of BBC News & Sport on Tour.

Project overview: Mobile external satellite dish – Plasma screen with multi feed options (DTT & DSat & DVD) – Interactive computer consoles with restricted user interface to allow public access.

BBC News & Sport on Tour

Objective to inform the public of the workings behind a number of areas within the BBC. The project toured for 5 years and allowed members of the public to interact with News & Sport personality’s from within the BBC.

All key roles of producing a News program where undertaken by members of the public with experienced staff talking them through the controls.

Siemens Business Services (SBS) exhibition stand at National Association of Broadcasters ( NAB )

Working alongside numerous sections of SBS both UK & International to showcase Siemens products.

Project overview: Front of house. All design & build aspects with the UK stand builder, Power provision via the US event organiser, Cable infrastructure, Projector Mounting, Plasma Screens, IT network, Liaison with US suppliers for AV Hire.
